I Have always felt the important role that music or just stripped to it's bare basics, noise and tone plays upon the human mind consciously and subconsciously. Music helps us relax, music helps us focus, music can set the scene. Naturally we are attracted to more low end frequencies this can be reflected in contemporary music from Hip Hop with low sub bass and Metal with lowered odd tunings. I feel the importance of T H E R I F F . when it comes to writting guitar based music I can sit on a riff for what seems like an eternity, as I feel the riff go through my fingers, the vibrated air into my ear drums as my eye roll it sends me into a trance.
so here I have not provided any guitar based music but a selection of electronic/field recording cut up works to induce a trance state, use this for meditation, magick ritual or just day to day listening.
